Stuart Schulman, Ed.D. is the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Virtual Enterprise (IVE), a special initiative of the City University of New York (CUNY). IVE provides technology driven simulations that increase awareness engage students across the curriculum and serve the 540,000 students of CUNY. Dr. Schulman is also a Professor of Management at Baruch College.
Dr. Edgar Troudt
Edgar E. Troudt, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at CUNY's Kingsborough Community College and an adjunct for the Field Programs in Entrepreneurship at CUNY’s Baruch College. He concurrently serves as Director of Technology for Kingsborough’s Center for Economic and Workforce Development and for CUNY’s Institute for Virtual Enterprise. At Baruch he currently teaches an Executive MBA course in entrepreneurship. Dr. Troudt’s primary research interest is in designing and studying entrepreneurship-education programs for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines.
Stephanie Shapiro is the Program Manager for CUNY IVE where she focuses on grant administration, program management, and faculty engagement. She joined the IVE team from the CUNY Center for Student Entrepreneurship (CSE) where she helped manage the 2015 SmartPitch Challenge. Ms. Shapiro has a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Certificate in Publishing from NYU. She completed her MBA in Entrepreneurship in December 2015 from Baruch College.
Lendynette Pacheco-Jorge is the Assistant Director of Programs at the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship. Mrs. Pacheco-Jorge focuses on fiscal and operational management with over 10 years of experience in educational services specializing in general project oversight. She has several years of experience as a Certified Business Advisor for the Baruch SBDC, during which she worked with hundreds of small business owners and entrepreneurs ranging from lawyers and fabric designers to restaurateurs and PR firms. She specializes in basic HRM practices for small businesses and general business start-ups, and has extensive experience recruiting and managing employees as well as developing training programs for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Mrs. Pacheco-Jorge holds an MS in Industrial Labor Relations and a BBA in Human Resource Management from Baruch College.
Patrick Centeno is a Technology Coordinator for the CUNY Institute for Virtual Enterprise. Fluent in web technologies, Patrick assists in the maintenance and development of the IVE and MarketMaker websites, as well as assisting MarketMaker users to better understand the site's functionalities. Mr. Centeno currently has a B.S. in Computer Science from Brooklyn College, and is pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science from there as well.
Peter Zheng is pursuing his undergraduate degree at Baruch College. He is also a web developer, and student entrepreneur in his free time. Peter is currently working with CUNY IVE as a Technology Coordinator focusing on front-end development.
