College Now-Nature of New York Mid-Winter Workshop

The Institute for Virtual Enterprise, Kingsborough Community College's College Now program and the Department of Tourism and Hospitality are offering for the first time The Nature of New York workshop during the mid-winter recess (February 22-24). This is a tuition-free, 0-credit workshop which will gives students an opportunity to explore the ecology of their city.

Students will work with noted naturalist and author Professor David Rosane, whose work inspired CUNY to create the first Nature of New York course at Queens College. Weather permitting, students will attend various field trips including the Native American Caves at Inwood Park, the Museum of Natural History, the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Far Rockaway and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
